reunion with my addict son after his 7yr prison term.
just want all who responded to my first post to know everything was great. he looks very good & talks very good. i do think he has grown alot. time will tell. his 3 children were here & his 3grandchildren,2 he has never seen. all were born while he was gone. this was the first time in over 10 yrs i have had my 3 children in my house at the same time. my other 2 have always been well adjucted. i am living in today, enjoying knowing he is home & doing well today. he does say he is worried about his son. i remind him there is nothing he can do for little j. j is staying in a little town about 50 miles from me with a woman he met while he was gone. she seems to b a good influence on him. i am happy & i do my little happy dance in my bunny shoes. thank u all for your support.
so far so good. he is ready to continue his new life, new beginnings so he says. i did this for 22 yrs. i have faith but things will have to b shown to me. it is sooo good to b able to see & talk to him. he was so many miles away i went over 3 yrs & never saw him. i am just happy.
Hope, I am so happy for you and am bringing enough bunny slipper for everyone to dance the happy dance.
All any of us have is today and my sister in law recently reminded me to stop looking in the rear view mirror, The future has yet to unfold, but today is a day for pure joy.
Hugs

I hope that your son will continue to work a solid Program.
For those of us that have had problems with alcohol and drugs in the past know,
A strong Program is required so as to have continued sobriety.
You sound to be a loving and encouraging mother.
Thus, you are a blessing for him.
