Thank you everybody. I'm having a hard time trying to figure this website out. I tried chat room a couple times and I couldn't figure it out. I did try the friends and family but it for some reason won't let me join.

I used to be a bit of an alcoholic my self a long time ago but got myself out of it. Now I am able to enjoy just a couple without feeling the need to want more. My husband has become an alcoholic and it started to destroy my family. He has agreed to try and cut back instead of quit. I told him I support him in every way and I am by his side. He used to drink 42 beer in one week. He now drinks a total of 10 in one week. Thursday he has 2 after work than a couple Friday and the rest Saturday. Today is his first Saturday. So far he is doing really well and I am very proud of him. However, I have been on his side before and never the supportive side. For somebody who has gone through it before you would think I would know how to support him but I'm not sure if I am doing a good job or not.
