scared and sorry
Still drinking, still scared, still very sorry for letting everyone down. Have my court case Friday. Am terrified. Hopefully if all goes well I will b back on track Saturday. Until then I am just clinging on to life. Seriously. I have never ever been so scared. Please dont hate me.
Hi angel
Noones going to hate you. I wouldn't be doing my best if I didn't try and get you to see this is not the best way of dealing tho...
I know the court case must be very scary for you - but don't you think drinking might be making things worse?
All drinking ever did with my fear and despair was amplify it - then the next day added shame and guilt and I started all over again.
You need to put your best foot forward Friday. You need to present well. You won't do that hungover and sick.
If you need support there's a lot of here - but please do step away from the drink - not for our sake, but yours, ok?

Hi.
Try to be kind to yourself as at times we do things we know are wrong for ourselves and others. An obvious thing is to stop doing them, easy to say when many are not in your shoes. There will be many suggestions but the main one is when we STOP drinking our lives do get better and better and better when we don’t pick up that first drink. (((((Angel70)))))

Thank you all. I know there's no point saying I'll stop tomorrow. I also know that's what I should b saying. I'm terrified. Literally. And I don't want to keep drinking. I can only see as far as Friday. Luckily I have a VERY supportive family. I will get through. I am just struggling big time. Thank you again x.
Angel, if you keep on drinking either you will show up drunk in court which will make your case even worst or you will show up there with the mother of all hangovers. This is really not good. You ll need to have your wits about you on Friday.
Who knows what will happen but if the judge decides to give you time, do you want to be detoxing in jail? At least at home, you have access to a shower and to ice cream and you can change your clothes if you are sweating and be comfortable.
You cannot change the past and you cannot predict the future but you can control your actions and behavior in the present.

Hi Angel, no one hates you. We've all been in the situation where we're scared and don't know what to do or how to handle things..
BUT, please heed what Carlotta says and take it to heart. I work in a courtroom and believe me when I say that coming to court smelling like alcohol is a bad idea. And even though I have a very poor sense of smell, I can always smell alcohol on people. Imagine what if someone has a keen sense of smell? Can you stay with someone the night before that will support you staying sober?
We're with you. Please take care of yourself.

Carlotta, Anna, and Thomas are right. I have had to do mediation and appear in court twice (non-alcohol related) I took the advise and abstained from drink for two days prior. I suited up and showed up, all polished and on my game. All three turned out in my favor.
It was tough, as drinking has always been my go to stress reliever; but being fresh, rested, and presentable paid dividends.
I hope you can put the bottle aside until this is over at least.
My prayers are with you.
