33 Days update

Hi everyone,

just a quick update, I am now back on 33 days after my relapse after 80 days clean. In the mornings I feel as if I have a hangover, (headache, weak, lethargic, head-fog) I am ok after about 30 minutes after getting up and have some small exercise, eating and get moving. Just wondering if anyone ever experienced the same?? otherwise riding the PAWS storm one Day at a time, have a nice day wherever you are

I've had some of these experiences around my one month mark. I'm not exactly sure what causes it physiologically, but it does pass! Also see a doctor in case it is caused by something unrelated?

Thanks Frixion yes I saw doc and got bloods done, all ok, everything within normal ranges, Thank God, will make an appointment with neurologist when home next just to put me at ease, is a neurologist the right person to see for head/nerve stuff?? if you know? thanks, or is there another type of specialist I need to see? thanks for any help.

Well that is a good option to look at, as well as endocrinologist (some hormone levels can mimic some of your symptoms), or even a psychiatrist may help. I haven't visited all these options myself, but have heard good thing as from other people.

Hi Carlingford -

low hanging fruit - how much water are you drinking? Did you increase it since you stopped drinking alcohol (and hence reduced the liquid you're ingesting by quite a bit!)

I noticed that water + vitamins helped with the PAWS symptoms too.

Good luck!
