First sober concert in ....

This is my first concert sober. Ever, I think. Didn't think I would be able to do it.. But I've got 18 days behind me and I'm about to lose that (thanks Antabuse!) thinking back, I don't remember about 90% of all of the shows I've been to. Glad to be changing that. Also, as I watch other people slowly become drunken idiots, I'm glad I'm not one of them... But I was one of them and that's hard to swallow. so many mixed feelings. It's a lot to contain in one brain. Thanks for listening sr!

the thing is, when you see that drunk a-hole you just have to shake your head and think what is wrong with these people. Then I remembered, I was one of those people at one time.

Enjoy the concert.

Awesome, strangeangel! I got to see Fleetwood Mac recently while sober. Actually, I was still detoxing so I just sat there and sweated through the whole show, but it was still great.

Couple of years ago I went to see a Yes concert (one of my favorites) and got so messed up I hardly remember the show. Even left during one of my favorite songs because I just needed to get home and lay down (and probably drink some more, I don't remember).

Great job, strange! I keep finding that every "sober first" is a huge building block. Sober concert, that's a big one Keep it going!

Apparently I was too drunk to notice before, but the majority of the human race is highly disappointing. Yay for another reason to stay sober
