Hi and welcome to a chance to turn your life around.

If you’re an alcoholic it basically means you’re addicted to alcohol. If so there are certain procedures we take to subdue this addiction.
First we must be honest with ourselves about our drinking and 2 we must accept the fact we cannot drink in safety one day at a time in a row. For us it’s the first drink that gets us drunk so it must be avoided. This early progress is not very easy for many so support is very helpful such as reading a lot here and also posting.

Many millions have recovered with the aid of going to AA meetingS which have helped millions in the last 80 years.

BE WELL

Welcome Splagar...my drinking went from bad to worse to even worse too. The good news is that it's never too late to quit, and it would be a fantastic decision for not only you, but your wife and upcoming arrival.

Have you ever attempted to quit before? There's a lot of information here on how to go about it and a lot of support too.
