Two Years
If I resist temptation until 10:45PM Central Time USA,(and that is all but a certainty) I will have been sober 2 full years.

It has been quite a journey and sometimes hard to believe it is true. Getting sober has opened up a lot for me and many, many positive changes have comle along. But dispersing the fog of alcoholism also exposed much I tried to cover with booze. Each sober day I think of this quote that I heard someone use and later found was from a US based TV evangelist; not among my favorite group of people. But if it fits..

I am not where I need to be, I am not where I am going to be... but thank God I am not where I used to be.

Thanks to all my SR friends in the forum and in the chat meetings, you have played a HUGE part!
