Hi, I'm an introvert and have trouble talking to anyone, even typing this i feel anxiety. I come from a long line of alcoholics and it is my desire to stop the cycle here, today. This is the first post I've ever made on my alcoholism, and the first time I've said it out loud. I don't know what i need or where I'm going only that i want to take a first step in my own recovery.

Welcome nyight....you just made a great first step. My suggestion would be to read a lot and ask any questions you might have. It's very common to feel anxious when quitting, just about all of use did or do..you are not alone.
