I had to laugh

I hope this thread doesn't get closed, but if it does I understand. I live on lake in the Minneapolis area, and one day about 10 years ago these long haired hippies wanted to spend the afternoon on the lake. One guy had a pink strand of hair on is old weathered head. It was Steven Tyler of aerosmith and so we spent the day on the lake with aerosmith, and it was awesome. truth be told, my friend got really drunk, offended them they left but we still had tickets to the concert that night. I didn't go, I'm not a concert guy. But it was fun. We had a Baja 25 footer with a 454 motor with silent option, that's the only reason I think they wanted to jump on board.

I don''t really get the point of the thread Jeff. ?

Reminiscing about the ''good times'' when you got drunk is kinda a slippery slope, especially when the weekends are your trigger time.

Don't know what a "cobber" is either, dude. Just a fellow Minnesotan here, and can totally picture the scene of 'at a lake in Minneapolis'. Are you okay?

Just throwing a little Aussie at you.
Cobber = mate= friend

In today's homogeneous world we've lost a lot of Aussie words so I like to use them when I can

Yeah Thomas. If you want to talk about Baja boats, just say so.

I like the 25 footer with the 454 motor, 27 pitch prop and the silent option is always good, Keeps the cops away. my 2 cents.
