Hi all,

For anyone who is interested, I have written a blog post about what it's like to fall in and out of love with an addict. It contains some hard truths but also I want other women to know that they can find love that is healthy and happy.

I guess it's also for women to read and to know they are not alone.

Thank you for sharing so honestly....I was much older than you when I first took up with my ex, however, the "thrill" was still no less intoxicating at first, due to my own addictive nature. I am not exactly where I want to be, but I am so much further than I ever dreamed I'd be in the few years since I asked him to leave our home. Baby steps, but they are still steps forward!
