Morning anxiety, restlessness

I have spoken of this here before, but I had forgotten how it feels. First thing, upon awakening, especially if I've just had a drinking dream, I feel almost in a panic. It is similar to how I'd feel if I woke up with the beginning symptoms of alcohol withdrawal.

Last night, I had a fairly long drinking dream. As usual, I was hiding it from everyone and sneaking drinks whenever and wherever I could. When my alarm went off, I had this very restless, uneasy feeling that lingered for about 5 minutes or so, until I got out of bed.

I just want relaxing mornings again. Even on weekends, I wake up not feeling all that well, emotionally. I hate it!

Not really. Haven't gotten the hang of meditation yet. It's very difficult for me to slow my mind down! I do slow down enough to take deep breaths, though.
