two months tomorrow
hard to believe, feels like forever, feels like five minutes....
the first 5 days was tough,
the second 5 days was REALLY TOUGH,
the next ten days after that was ABSOLUTELY EXCRUTIATING,
I really absolutely just gave up mentally - more than once...
but somehow my car made it home without stopping for beer...and here I am.
things got easier after that time....I still have some hard moments when I REALLY want to drink...like last night for instance. BUT THEN, I DON'T...and I go to bed and sleep great, wake up feeling good....and the first thought on my mind is -- wow, hey, what great new thing am I going to do and feel today? what new possibilities lie ahead? they are endless, that is exciting!
and the more I don't drink, and the more days I pile up sober, the more of that excitement I experience....along with --liking my job more, loving my friends more, starting running again and signing up for a charity run, interviewing for a volunteer position at the hospital, feeling an overall GOODNESS from within
I want more and more and more of this GOOD STUFF.....I plan to keep on pushing drink aside in order for it to continue to manifest
Thank you all for being here....
Hugs and Blessings, Trish
