So sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved grandmother. Losing someone is very painful. Cry, stamp your feet, punch a pillow, scream to relieve your grief but don't drink. It really won't help. I know you feel you want to blot out the pain - drinking will only increase your pain, both mentally and physically.

Hugs to you.

Toni, I'm sorry to hear your grandma passed. It's so hard. Think about this: would it honor your grandma for you to drink? I don't think it probably would. Right now, you have things to do to prepare for the funeral. You need to be in shape to do so, you don't want to shame her or her memory. Is there family you can be with now to help you?

Love from Lenina

I'm sorry for your loss Toni.
I hope you don't drink tho.

It's ok to be sad when someone dies.

it's natural - we grieve we cry and eventually we get through it.

My condolences too. My father died last October. It certainly contributed to me picking up again a month or so later Thankfully for a relatively short time cos here I am sober again learning once more as if I needed to, that drinking solves nothing and ultimately makes things a lot worse.

I'm sorry for the loss of your grandmother. I'm sure she would be very proud that you are sober and remain so.

Sorry for your lose, Toni. Losing loved ones is never easy, but from my experience drinking doesn't make the pain go away. It's still there when you sober up the next morning.
