Sober 3.5 years

hi guys. its been a hell of a long time since I came back to the site. I wanted to say hi again, and report for myself mainly, that I am sober 3.5 years. I was at my first meeting today in almost 2 years, having taken a break from AA for a while. Glad I went. I know where I went wrong with it the last time, and am going to get the most out of it now. Thanks all so much for the well wishes. I would like to say that while it is great to have all this sober time achieved, it is also important to build on it. I would not take my sobriety for granted, there are always unexpected tests and situations that would send you all the way back to zero. But luckily this has not happened. I have however been too selfish in my sobriety. I realize this from the meeting today, and would see a lot of work to be done on myself as a result.
