My past is returning to haunt me
My past is returning to haunt me
I am trying to get a credit card. Apparantly during one of my drunken rampages about 5 years ago, I put a freeze on my credit. I vaguely remember the incident. I couldn't find my wallet. I made up some ridiculous story that it was stolen. I drunkenly called the bank and all kinds of other people. I guess I had some one freeze my credit. The wallet laid next to me the next day. I was passed out in my bed and the wallet was right there. I never fessed up to the drama. I never called anyone back to correct what I did the previous night. I just left it alone. That is my honest confession of the day. I have a meeting and when I get back I will try and fix that mess. Lol. I am a little mad at the ole drunk Jen right now.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Countrygirl,Brought back many memories of the stupid things I did while drunk, the last one was when I was flush I let the wife into my bank account and she transferred $14,000 into her account !! never saw it again,, just as well as would probably have drank it anyway, she put it to good use Thank God
CG, you'll get it sorted out but what a headache. I called and reported my card lost or stolen several times. Once, it was sitting on my computer keyboard where I'd been engaging in a little drunken Amazon shopping. Right in plain sight.
At least we have a chance of not repeating that while sober, though I'm very scatterbrained still.

Wow! I am so glad I'm not alone. I have to laugh at how ridiculous I was. My car got broken into...once, true story. But according to drunk Jen I was robbed more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. It's so easy to blame everything on everybody else when you are in that state of mind. So I laugh at it. I will fix it. I feel like I'm cleaning up after a four year old.

I used to order dumb stuff online while I was drunk. Then receive packages during the week & I didn't remember ordering it. Or I would wake up to a bunch of confirmation emails of things I bought while I was drunk. Gah!!!
Reminds me of the time I was so hungover on a weekday that I couldn't bother to move the car by 11 am so it got towed for the street cleaners. By the time I paid for the tow and impound I was out of over $300. Oh the stupidity.
