Happy St Patricks Day

this day used to be about the Guinness for me...

now it's about the trials and tribulations that my and so many other people's ancestors had, crossing the globe in search of a new & better life for themselves and their children, and their children's children...

Happy St Patricks Day everybody

D

For any SR Members who've gone out. We want and need you back with us on this St. Patrick's Day. There's strength in numbers, eh?

Linked below are some of my favorite Irish Exports, whom I like even more than Guinness. Produced in part by John 'Mutt' Lange who helped craft the sound of Def Leppard.

If anything could make me commit to sobriety, it's walking out of the subway on Sunday and completely forgetting it was the St. Patty's Day parade!

Happy St Patrick's Day! My work is putting on a bar tab for staff tonight, so in celebration of not drinking, I'm going to eat some really nasty gas-producing foods and make their hangovers extra special tomorrow morn with a crop-dusting of chocolate fog.

Happy St. Patrick's Day and thank you Dee for the reminder of what we have to be grateful for. We have a different struggle than the immigrants who uprooted and moved but just as vitally important.

Did you know there is actually an Irish ambassador to the diaspora? Marched in our local parade.

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!!

Yeap for me this used to be the drinking day of the year, sponsored by Guinness, start in the morning and go from there, especially as it's a public holiday here, so no work to go to.

Today is going to be a more relaxing affair, plenty of green tea, I picked up a few new varieties yesterday in special preparation to try out today.

. . . and I'll be checking in here with all you guys on SR!!

Oh and here's a message from Ireland, extremely proud that Ireland has so much more to offer than alcohol!!
