Relating to Alcohol, personally I could no longer manage the following

- my finances
- my relationships
- my job
- raising my son
- the hangovers
- the endless piles of empties
- my mental health

I could keep going, I'm sure you get my vibe ;-)

Not a definition just examples

The lying
The shame
The guilt
Being half there with loved ones
Planning my life around drinking
Endangering loved ones
Emotionally numb
Missing out on so much
Hurting the people I love the most

Just a few off the top of my head but I could come up with a hundred without much thought
