I know it's not normal but it's all I know. Since I was 17. I'm 37 now. That's a lot of life being this way.
It's better to get sober now than try and get sober down the road with numerous health problems. It's not going to get easier, but will only get worse.

Idk guys. I get what you're saying. I'm a pretty intelligent guy. That's half my problem actually. I feel and see too much. I almost wonder if this isn't better. Even if it kills me. I'm not asking for attention or anything like that. It's not fake drama. It's just better this way I think.

So you were OK then, feeling like **** today. The difference between then and now? You are drinking; your addiction wants you to keep drinking, so now sobriety sux. The rantings of someone in his cups.
I hope you haven't slide down the rabbit hole too deep, Dave, to get back on the sober path.
