Day 6
I discovered a trigger, Saturdays, especially the Saturday after seeing our marriage therapist.
So tomorrow morning I'll hit the gym, then spend the rest of the day with my son. Then see a Genesis tribute band "The Musical Box" play the music from the album Foxtrot. Should be a great show.
We won't be seeing him for two months due to the fact we cannot get anything done until I have at least that amount of time sober.
Looking into a substance abuse/codependency specialist for both myself and to see together. The marriage therapist can't help us at this point. My wife is seeing her own therapist but not talking about it. Her actions have changed from arguing to snapping out, causing my 11 year old son to say "mom, why do you get so grumpy when we get home?".
It's obvious my wife is dealing with a lot of frustration and trying to make family life normal but can't help lashing out on me at times because of my relapse after 20 days.
Many times she is fine but seems to be fighting her codependency. Again I don't know what she talks about with her therapist and I think if she shared about it with me she thinks she'll blow her cover? Does anyone have any insight into this?
