My Divorce Went Through and I have Peace
Hi friends and angels,
I just want to thank you for all of your support and wise words over the past 2+ years that I have been here.
I have grown so much with and because of you. Getting to this point was worth the pain. I learned to have faith, to love the people in my life, to love my life. I feel good.
I have basically given my house to my ex. The children want it in their lives and it gives my ex stability. I will receive some cash to clear a bit of my horrible debt. And my weekly alimony is now set at almost a liveable level. My attorney thinks that my ex will leave me alone now, because he will start getting his own debt cleared up, his financial profile is going to look a lot better soon, and if we return to court they will probably raise the alimony again.
The divorce went through Wednesday afternoon and 3 hours later I was on my way to the most beautiful ski resort in the world, where I was well treated and pampered by my friend. The children did well and I arrived home yesterday to a peaceful, happy home. I am blessed.
I havent always gone about things the way you all have advised me. But I have always listened to you, and to my heart. I am living in another culture and that also causes a bit of a disconnect between us sometimes. I don't think there always needs to be agreement, just respect. I hope that others here learn also to find a balance between seeking advice from you wise people and listening to their inner voice.
I hope to be able to be helpful to others going through the pain and trauma my family and I have suffered. It was a long hard dark tunnel but today the sun is shining more beautifully than ever. Blessings to you all.

Great news Pippi! The task of getting free seemed insurmountable at some points, but you persevered. To those who think, I can't do it, it's too hard, I'll never be free: the journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.
