New around this way...
So im really enjoying this forum and such and am looking to further my involvment with recovery online... So i figured Id open this thread to something and check it once a day and continue the conversttion... We can talk about support or recovery or anything else... I myself and in recovery for heroin and am looking to network with people of like recovery, hope it goes into something good... thanks

Welcome, EricinPA. How long has it been since you've done heroin?
I think posting and meeting the people in these forums is great. I was a "lurker" for a while but I find it helps to interact with people who know where you're coming from.

I have been clean from heroin for going on 60+ days, but the problem is i got clean in jail so i dont count those first 30 days, but in the real world Ive been clean 30+ days. Im really just looking for some people to connect with online and chat about this and that on getting clean and living this "newish" life. Ive been a drug user since i was 14 and im 27 now but only with heroin for 3 years. (haha only?) and this is the first time im really thinking different and using a program properly to stay clean. Im really trying to work on myself and not just the addiction. I have alot of stuff to clean up and am really looking to get back to being social as i lost all of my friends to this ****. So any and all advice is always welcomed and i hope to find some people to really talk with.
