Day 9: Checking in
I confess, I'm not feeling great. Woke up last night due to work stress and had a devil of a time getting back to sleep. But, I also know alcohol won't make it better, so I'm just putting one foot in front of the other.
Hope everyone has a lovely night and sweet dreams.

Thanks, all. I honestly believe I learned my lesson when I chose to give up 5 months of sobriety due to stress. Guess what? The stress was still there the next day. At least sober I'm more even-keeled and better able to handle it. I hope all of you have a great day.
I believe we have the same sobriety data, Matilda. I'm working on Day 10. The cravings have been overwhelming, but I've gritted my teeth and stuck to it. I'm already feeling better at work and my mind is starting to clear somewhat. I like the lack of a hangover, a lot!

Congratulations, jd! So glad you are already feeling the benefits of sobriety--that is fantastic, my friend!
