Day 3

Never thought I'd come on this site to say this... But dammit, I'm 3 days sober! Finally starting to feel a lot of emotions that I've drowned in booze for the past two years. It's scary, yet exciting to feel again. The past two days I've been confronted face to face with bottles of things that I USED TO love, but by the grace of God I turned the other cheek to them. Today I've been pretty down, overwhelmed and stressed. But I'm slowly learning to let out how I'm feeling, rather than sedate it with booze. Thankful for my constant support system and thankful to see another sober day.
