OH MY - the words that came out of my mouth!

So I was invited to a ho-hum after work "few drinks", and didn't want to go for so many reasons......

But what I SAID shocked me....

"No thank you, I don't drink", smooth as butter .....not planned, just came out....

No one looked shocked or surprised, just, oh OK.....and smiled....
WOW, that was easy!

It was so cool saying that! It was not planned, just came out of the mouth unexpectedly.....But when the words came out, it was an immediate relief, and a good feeling. I am going to try that more often, with other groups, and in no time I WILL be a non-drinker....the secret will be out and no more explanation or excuses necessary!

And this is the NEW NORMAL, seems more and more people that I meet don't drink....they are not necessarily alcoholics, but people that are concerned about their health.... or not falling for the alcohol hype.....I am noticing this a LOT with the younger generation in their 20's. It is very good to see!
