Back with my tail between my legs
NO!!! I'm not!!! I ripped my bloody tail clean off and smashed my AV over the head with it 
I'm not crawling back to SR like I usually do after a mammoth binge. I'm marching here with 34 days sober under my belt. I'm reconstructing my life. I'm taking responsibility for my actions. I'm becoming the man that my family knows I can be, becoming the role model that I'll need to be for my future wife and child. I don't even have a girlfriend yet! But that's not stopping me! Preparation is how winning is done.
My oldest ''friend''/drinking buddy text me yesterday stating that he's coming round to mine for a ''good session.'' ''NO you are not mate, let's go to the gym or for a hike'' I said. He declined, so I made myself some nice food and spent some quality time with some new friends. Am I abandoning my old friend? Hell no, he'll just have to respect my decision to stay sober won't he?

Good to be back posting, I have been diligently reading posts everyday, and SR is one of my main tools in sobriety

That ended well after your title.....you sound like you've finally got to that place where you're so committed you're bound to be successful. My son's friend sent him a message similar to the one you received and he replied, 'can't sorry, I'm, you know, mature'.
