I've seen this before, probably on Pinterest, (I say that WAY too much lately ) But, yeah, it speaks to me. Thanks for sharing.

oohhh I love pottery and all the metaphors that surround it.

This would be a good thing for people to visualize when they are having a panicky or craving moment

Thanks, Mr. Dee.

Ohh! I work in a big gallery and we have some examples of this, it's absolutely beautiful. there are many pieces in the collection that the art conservators decided should absolutely not be repaired despite how skilled they are at almost eliminating any trace of the cracks. they do this with other materials too not just gold, and some pieces can be fixed together with the spaces in the cracks still visible, almost like the ceramic pieces are floating next to each other, they're completely beautiful and so relevant to recovery, thanks for reminding me and drawing that association!!

I like it Dee, thanks!

Plus it's better than fixing things with Dock tape, right!? (Duct tape I know, LOL!)

Well said Dee!

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.......

That's my philosophy for life. Didn't know it had an actual name. Reminds me of one of my fave quotes:

"The world breaks everyone. Then some become strong at the broken places." ~Ernest Hemingway

Thank you, Dee.

I think it is so beautiful. The philosophy and the bowl.

I love the Ernest Hemingway quote as well HeartsAfire. Far more realistic and profound than "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
