Sorry to hear you have a 'situation' to cope with. Well done on acknowledging it's NOT your fault, even though it's a struggle

Post sober

I love this song too
https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...k+sober+lyrics

there are no problems that drinking/drugging won't make worse.
Sorry about your sister. Do you believe she would want you to hurt yourself because of her? How would that help? Think

Hurting yourself would not change your sisters situation my dear friend.

If there is anything you can do to help yourself and her is to get help, get better, and and good doze of prayers.

Bad things in life will happen, that's why it is called life. The only thing we can all do is to live a good life, and see the good things in life instead of the bad. Go to a park with your husband, go see the children smiling and having fun. See how they don't worry, find the child within.

Your AV is completely taking advantage of this. Don't let it. I hear it ALL over your post.

Focus only on what you can control and stay close to SR... I hope your sis gets better!!!

Hard times are a true test of sobriety, but being present for your sister is so important. It will make you feel better, too, if you are part of the cure rather than the problem. And drinking makes us a problem, right away. Stay strong and best to your sister.

Do you suffer from OCD? Sounds like it. Those thoughts are only liars, don't listen to them. There is help available for it. Be well.

Is this your first time in A.A.?
I found the 12 steps were the only thing that saved me after 30 years of trying it MY way. It does sound like you may need more help. I once dated a cutter, She had to go in patient. We are not Doctors here, but we are all here to support you. Keep listening to pink 'Sober'. It's a great song for us.
Don't listen to your AV. keep doing the next right thing. Your sister and we all need you.
peace-Jonathan

Thumbs up You are perfect

Dark,
Here's another song from Pink, when you get tired of Sober. What a great talent. besides her voice she is an acrobat in concert.
This one goes out to you and your sister.
