what do i expect
The papers have been filed but he has not been served yet.(sometime this week)
I have waves of emotions right now but I need to know if I should get my own auto insurance and put my cell phone in my name and is there anything else I should know?

Big step, Cricket... congrats! Get as much in your name as possible if you want to keep it for your own. Also, get your name off as much joint stuff as you can - like credit cards and health insurance. But I think you should have a freeze on all your assets now that you've filed so he can't run any bills up... what did your lawyer say about that? Have you opened your own bank account?
