The divorce is final!
I called the courthouse, and they were finally able to give me the good news. So thankful that it has come to an end. I am still sharing parenting responsibilities wit XAH, but at least I can look forward. I might even start to feel and look like a "normie" at some point (with super sensitive antennae).

I remember your early posts, Yurt, and man, you have come a looooong way. Congrats on all your progress--I know there's all kinds of exciting and energizing stuff waiting for you in the days ahead.

Yurt....I, also remember your early posting days--when you were still tiptoeing on eggshells around a dictatorial type person and feeling that you were "stuck" without viable options.

Next week, it will be a regional band performance. In the process of trying to wade through university financial questionnaires, arranging interviews for different universities.

Thank you to everyone for the good wishes. I spent the last couple of days with a close friend (who was waiting for the divorce to be finalized before getting even closer), and today, the paperwork was in my mailbox. So, as my friend told me, it is time to put the past behind us.
