Ah, 3 weeks! YAY
Yesterday marked 3 weeks, I read back over my couple threads and I have to laugh. those first few days really sucked! AA is a miracle for me, I am so blessed to have awesome people in my meetings and I look forward to them so much. Tonight I don't have one and I wish I did, I get so much out of them. I'm also listening to K-Love radio station through Iheart radio online and it's changing me....Some of these songs are so incredible. A lot is changing about me and I love it. Being Sober.....rocks!!

tonight is one of my favorite meetings, always important Friday night meeting, going into the weekend. A 3 day weekend at that!! One thing I love about A.A. meetings, sitting there listening to other people tell their stories, pieces of stories and thinking "OMG that is me" It took me a full 3 weeks to be able to say my name and "I'm an alcoholic". Hardest words to ever come out of my mouth. But then I realized...when you identify with 99% of everything said, everything in the "How it works"....then you probably are like everyone else there. haha.
My favorite line "remember, we deal with alcohol, cunning, baffling and powerful". Incredibly true!
