I just want to say Thanks to everyone who contributes to this site, I am in my 7th week of being sober & I feel so free.I was watching Cops today & I couldn't believe all the calls that were alcohol related, nice to know I shouldn't have those problems in my life.My finances could be better but I don't worry too much about it, I'm sure 2 months ago I could have figured out how to come up with an extra 40-50 bucks a week so I could drink.

I always and I mean always found money to drink. Funny how that works, can't pay the power bill but could afford a 12 pack a day or a 1.75 ml bottle. Congrats on solid 7 weeks of sobriety.

Great news Headcase, congrats on your 7 weeks. It's disturbing to see how many problems are caused by drugs an alcohol, but the only ones you can control are the ones you ARENT causing anymore ;-). Keep up the good work!
