Need help!

35yrs old full time college student and I'm ruining my life. I got involved with some ****** people and got myself hooked on crack. I want to recover so that's why I registered to this site and started back to NA meetings. I can't go on like this.

Thanks,
J

Thanks for the welcome. My sit rep is pretty dire. I really need to get off this stuff, I'm to the point that I feel as if dying is the only way out, but I have no immediate plans to self terminate.

33 yr old college student here. Stay away from the crack smoking circle. Period. Get all the help you can get right now. Even if it means taking a break next term and going to rehab. You're starting your sober journey, I got a couple years, we really are no different. Tomorrow's a new day for both of us and we both gotta fight to take the sober route. Let's do it.

32 year old student here, recovering alcoholic. I didn't think I could stop drinking but if you're truly ready you can stop too. You sound ready. Welcome.

Life without the ball and chain of addiction is way better. Take it day by day and make sobriety your first priority. Take the option to use off the table.

Hi there and welcome to SR.

There are a few people on here who have beaten crack and others who are going through the process. The substance abuse forum is a good place to post, record your progress, and receive support from others that have been through similar experiences.

You can do this, and we are all here to support you.

Oh just for posterity sake, I used crack for hopefully the last time in Tuesday, February 10th at approximately 915pm. I just want to remember when I decided to get clean

Welcome Natty, you will like it here, there is a lot of threads you can learn and relate too. I am 41 and I am alcoholic and I been clean from meth for 24 years now and 8 days drinking.

So you can do it, if you feel the need to use, instead post in here, that's what I do!!

Good for you, you will never have to repeat those 12 hours again. Go to the meeting and be as honest with them as you are here. are you also planning on quitting drinking or do you even drink? Drinking caused me to go to crack and heroin. I would have never done those drugs if I wasn't drinking. Any way If you plan on quitting both I suggest A.A. too.
Look around at the people who have gone through it, If they can quit so can you.
