Looking for support
Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie to this, and will really be looking for support.
My quit date is tomorrow, and I have reached out for help through my employer. First counselling session is this Tuesday, and I hope to get into a program to help me.
Drinking is costing me my relationship, as a drunk has no filter on his mouth. My partner has been driven to have affairs, and I truly feel lost, broken and alone.
Help me please

I'm new here too, but I want to offer my support as well.
You've made the first step, good for you!!
Its funny, my first post had the same "help smiley" as well.
Everyone here seems really supportive and understanding.

Change,
You are not alone, I just joined today and the support is here. I am alcoholic and been sober for 5 days. The good about this forum that you can get a lot of stuff off your mind.
We can do this together change.

Thank you everyone
Today is day 1 for me, and I'm happy to have found a place to come to, and be welcomed warmly.People have told me that seeking help on your own is being brave, and I do so need it. counselling appointment tomorrow, and I hope to start letting go of everything locked inside for years. Not sure I can save my relationship, but do need to save me.
