Question looking in the Mirror

I looked at myself in the mirror on Wednesday morning and told myself no more. Drove myself to the sub. clinic, paid them a bunch of money and made my appointment. Although i do not feel so hot right now i sure am liking the gal in the mirror allot more then the gal i seen just days ago.. How long will it take for me to feel human again? I am way better today then i was 2 days ago but still have that creepy crawly feeling. The ONE feeling i cant stand. I have taken 3 warm baths today trying shake this feeling no real help. Any suggestions?

Welcome, Renee!

I don't have experience with opiate addiction, but many members have shared their experiences in the Substance Abuse section of this forum. There's also lots of information on Suboxone. Read around and post often!

Maybe it's the moon Renee I've had a bad feeling all day, like something is just wrong, but I can't pinpoint what it is. Not even sure I want to know. Not gonna take a drink though.

I heard someone say one time that the day could have gone to hell, but if you didn't take a drink, the day was a success. Trying to remind myself of that. Hang in there

Oh, didn't realize it was opiates. Good luck

Click Forums again and scroll down below the alcoholism section. You'll find it.

Hi and welcome Renee

I have no experience with subs either but I'm sure someone will. I actually have that creepy crawly feeling myself from another cause and bananas seems to help me - the potassium or something.

We have a forum for sub detox here...it's quieter than this forum but it's worth a read

Suboxone/Methadone Maintenance or Detox - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

You're very welcome here in Newcomers too

Welcome, Renee; I don't have any subs experience, either, but wanted to let you know that I am glad you found SR.
