Welcome to SR. So glad you found us and are reaching out for help. Feel free to post anywhere you like. We have a substance abuse forum and NA board...and also the Women in Recovery. Lots of support and friendship here. Hope you will share more with us. We will share our experience and hope with you and help in any way we can. Hang in there, okay? It can get so much better. Many of us DO make it. There IS a way through all the madness and pain. I never believed I could make it for many many years. Had more bottoms than I did successes. But perseverance and searching will bring results. Keep posting. We care.....

i was you two days ago, i know its sounds cliche but it does get better. every day there is a reason to wake up and we all know that reason is you. you are so special and important, even if you feel alone, we are all here for the same reason, and believe this is the safe place. the first step you just made to living was posting that email. the second step is to realize that all us are here for each other and love you inconditionally, no matter what. take care of yourself and remember there is a reason why you are being put through this test in life, whether it makes you stronger, or just keeps knocking you down, always know that you can get right back up. be strong.

I'm an alcoholic...15 days sober...I can totally relate to your S.O.S. message. I imagine it's hard to reach out for help...so stay with us and tell us about yourself. Talking it out helps alot. Let us know how you're doing.
