A New Job

So everyone, after all the changes that I have made in the last year, I have another one.

I told you last month that my boss was a "raging" screamer, daily, to all employees. I decided in December that I was going to look for a new job. I was no longer going to accept unacceptable behavior from anyone anymore. So I started applying in January. I got an offer from a church of all places.

I am going to their Parish Administrator. They pay is a 2/3 more then what I as being paid, plus they will pay 100% medical (I had none before) Plus i will get vacation and a retirement package. Can you believe this. wow!!!

Good things don't happen to me. I am blown away. So I told old boss that I would give 2 weeks and was leaving, of course he started yelling. I walked away not to engage with him, and he followed. Yelling is there anything that will change my mind.... HELLO?? Does he not get it???

So I am here to say, things do come through for us codies... if we wait long enough till the time is right, God does take care of us. This also gives me more information about volunteering with all my free time, being single. Double positive for me to give back what I have been given.

Keep the faith ladies and gentleman, I paid my dues and now I am on the receiving end!! I couldn't have pulled this off without all your support!! Thank you!!

Yay!!!

Oh, what WONDERFUL news! I remember when I got the job I have right now, and I had to remind myself every day that I wasn't dreaming (lol, any job grows its "warts" after a while, and I've discovered a few but still counting myself fortunate).

Hope it winds up being a wonderful fit for you. And speaking of "fits," your boss sounds exactly like an alcoholic following you around screaming about how you can't leave, because he LOOOVES YOU, and NEEDS YOU!!

Oh wow!!! That's awesome! Congrats! I have to admit I'm a little jealous, as I'm looking for a job myself.

But seriously, way to go!

Thanks Timeiskey -

I'm working, I'm working.

Always trying to mind my side of the street, as hard as that is for me.
