the dumb things I do sober.

The dumb things I do sober;
not checking my bank account to piece together the night.

Knowing where I parked my car.

Knowing what time I went to bed at.

Not leaving food in the microwave overnight.

Sending texts/making phone calls at normal time of night.

knowing where my wallet, keys and cell phone are.

Not cursing out my exgirlfiend from 10 years ago on her Facebook wall for breaking my heart.

Sleeping in my bed.

I had to laugh at FBing the exgf. Although, I was telling her she was the one that got away and stuff like that. Only for her to respond by asking me if I somehow missed the wedding photos she had just posted of her wedding day haha

My favorite part of living sober is waking up feeling good, and not like death warmed over.

Ha! At first I misread this and thought you were saying you still do these things despite sobriety. I, for one, was not cured of my stupidity after sobriety. I still can't find my keys much less my car. I've been looking for my hat since my hair fell out.

Not knowing where car is is so familiar, i do not nearly burn the house down anymore by leaving food on the stove to burn, or leave all doors incl car unlocked,
Or chat on webcam blind drunk with mu mum in holland blacking out not knowing what I told her the night before, same for my sister , still lose mobile phone though
Your post made me laugh i recognise it lol.
Drunk People are dumb asses and petatic actually if you think about it

Great way to wake up:
in your own bed,
money in the bank,
car in the driveway,
stomach contents digested,
dignity intact
pure microwave,
happy friends.
