AA-AVRY-SMART-(Craft, a new one to me)
Like I said many times in this forum, I'm going on my 11 month of sobriety.
I don't believe that I have any medical worries to be concerned about. The shakes, the sweats, sleeping too much or not enough are behind me.
I still will check in "the 24 hour" thread. I still realize that I am very very vulnerable at this point. Some of the different groups just seem to scare me a bit. Everyone has their own beliefs and I accept that. I don't know why it frightens me. Everyone is SO SO SO SO nice, I just seem to get lost in all the dialog going back and forth, from one belief to the next.
So I thought it would be best for me just to sign in. Does anyone have an alternative route that I might try?

Keeping an open mind, reading about other recovery methods and keeping up with SR on daily basis has worked well for me for a couple of years now. Doing SOMETHING recovery-related every day is a lot better than doing nothing at all in my book...keep up the good work.
In early recovery when I didn't understand
AA and recovery, it was suggested that I
continue to bring the body and the mind
would follow.
Meaning, as long as I kept attending
my meetings, listening, learning, absorbing,
and applying what I was learning, then
what I had trouble understanding in my
mind, heart and soul would soon become
understandable.
Eventually it did and still does.

Hey airwick -- I totally know where you're coming from -- I've changed my "style" of using SR for support several times. I used to use more classes -- Undies & my first month group -- and post more to Newcomers. Then for a while I did lots of word games here. Now I do 24 Hour & Morning Gratitude every single day, but that's all I do every day right now, unless I need more. It allows me to check in without getting overwhelmed.
Allow yourself to find the pace that works for you. But I hope you don't drift away -- I think it's really important to stay connected to your base of support.

After 11 months sober it sounds like you have a good sober routine .
keep on in good faith and i'm sure you won't go wrong .
I heard a wise person say take what works and leave the rest .
Bestwishes, m

In the end I think it's your recovery airwick - we all need to do what makes sense to us.
Sometimes I think we can be fearful we're doing it wrong...but we may not be at all
I didn't do any particular programme or technique - although I read a lot about each of the ones I see here.
I'm still sober and happy being that way
I think that last sentence ^ is the bottom line
How do you feel about how you feel? lol

Let it be stated in the Records that on February 4, 2015.
Zenchaser , Being of Sober mind and body, is , without force, is letting it
be known to all, that Airwick (that being me!) is "CLEARLY DOING IT
RIGHT".
*The reassurance I needed, Thanks
