Ah just kicked me out what do I do now?
Ah just kicked me out what do I do now?
Snow day and ah recovering from knee surgery so we were all home today.
I cleaned out the fridge and threw out 4 or 5 bottles of open soda and one was ah's he was mad at me for that and it went down hill from there ending in him wanting to 'kick my a$$' and to get out. For my own safety I left. So I'm setting here in a parking lot an hour later wondering what I'm going to do. I need to find someplace to stay tonight and a few nights until I can get someplace permanent. I know I should call my sister but I'm being prideful (grr) I don't want to explain or cry. I have nothing with me so I need to get my stuff at least a couple of change of clothes any suggestions?

Hi cricket,
I noticed the date that you joined here. To me it seems like you have been in this situation for awhile now, and perhaps even afraid to talk about it. We are here for you.
I do not suggest going back to get anything unless if you have a police officer with you.
Have you ever called the DV hotline? 1-800-799-SAFE?
You might try to reach out to them also tonight, and stay at the shelter. The shelter I stayed at had plenty of clothing for people who had to leave with nothing.
((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))
Stay around and talk to us, we are glad that you found us.

If you need to retrieve your stuff (and I recommend getting it as soon as you possibly can--before he takes it into his head to throw it out or destroy it), ask for a police escort. They "stand by" for property removals all the time, and are probably willing to do it.
my heart breaks for you...I am in a similar situation by my AH just left the house...said he was "going out". So glad you have your sister to go to. Let us know what happens and always know you are not alone...
