Approaching 90 days and settling in...
A month ago I was all about the NA beer, I was nervous about a business trip and pending divorce.... Well I'm settling in comfortably to my new life. I'm not drinking and the thoughts have gotten better to deal with. I've cut my counciling by 1/3 I find a great deal of help coming here. The divorce papers are filed and we are communicating better with each other and are at least civil. I've also discovered other drinks that I never thought I'd like (green and black and herbal teas, decaf coffee in the evenings sodas, etc) and reduced my na beer consumption greatly (still enjoy one or two a few times a week) and just enjoying life a bit more. Thanks to everyone who has been here supporting me I feel great (and it's 9 am on a Sunday morning lmao!)

I think when we turn the bend there things really get exciting. I remember at thanksgiving worrying about what I was going to drink and white knuckling it at dinner. So many parties and get togethers since where I haven't given it a thought! Now, it just feels like life.

Approaching 90 days not there yet still 6 days to go.... Never thought I could do this like this. Even the changed in the last month trying to change my routine do things a little different I can't believe I've been able to handle it. This place is a huge part of it.
