Day 4
Hi all, Feeling good today. It has been a good week. My wife and I continue to talk about all of things we are glad are behind us and all the crappy ways we used to treat each other and other people. We are also looking forward to all of the great things we will experience with our kids and families now that we are not drinking. No more crazy Thursday nights getting hammered at home and staying up all night only to barley make it through Friday and then be destroyed all weekend. I am glad to be sober and hope and know it will continue forever. Thanks everyone for the support and although it took a long time for me to realize, I am an alcoholic and will be one forever. My dad has been sober for 26 years and even then I didn't see the warning signs that I was a binge drinker. I have a long way to go, but it feels great to be here.
