Thought from my journal
As I come up on 1 month -I was reviewing my journal(notes I made Just before my quit date) . Heres a brief thought from it:
...Wow..In a quest to be free (feel good while buzzed every night) Alcohol has actually caged me.
At first Its inviting, then routine, then an addiction - a prison.

What was once 'fun' or a 'release' quickly captures us, enslaves us; we find ourselves in its painful claws; its binding chains; its cold, damp and narrow cells.
Thank God that it is possible to break free.
