Hit the 90 days on Saturday, went to a AA dance and had a great time. Today marks official 3 months.
For those that are struggling it can be done, talking with my sponsor on Saturday morning we were discussing the different bottoms that people have. Him knowing a good portion of my story I stated I didn't hit my bottom, I walked around down there for years, it just took another line for me to cross to open my eyes to where I was.
I spent Saturday afternoon laser cutting some roses to hand out at the dance, had a few left and as I went to meetings Sunday continued to pass them out till they were gone. There was a lady at a meeting Sunday that is waiting on a bed in a treatment center. She looked a bit shocked when I handed it to her, and later gave her my number for rides if she needed them for meetings. Later received a text from her thanking me for the rose and that it was the nicest thing anyone had done for her. Made my day to bring a smile to someone down.

Hi and congratulations.
Helping another alcoholic is a joy that drinking never brought me. That’s PART of what sobriety delivers and it goes 2 ways.
I’ve done a good deal of speaking at AA meetings and it is gratifying to have someone come up after the meeting saying something like “Thank you I needed to hear what you said.” Particularly at rehabs.
