Encourage to not walk in my shoes
I remember this feeling 5 years ago.
I remember being forced to make choices I didn't want to make.
I remember birthing & caring for our newborn on my own.
I remember my family torn apart.
I remember borrowing to survive.
I remember moving.
I remember how it was all dumped in my lap.
Guess what I am doing now?
Doing it all again.
I am not saying it happens to everyone. It doesn't.
It happens to several though.
Don't be me. If you made it this far, struggling through pain, grief and loss, keep going. Don't look back.
Don't step back in to that arena, because chances are you will get burned again.
Somehow, the 2nd go round hurts way more than the first & I guess its because I knew better.

Well, better twice than three times I suppose?
It is true -- The Life Lessons we do not Learn -- We may have to Repeat.
So Go, Be Blessed -- and as Wiser tongues than mine have cautioned -- Go Forth and Sin, No More.
Today IS the First Day of the Rest of Your Life. Congrats.

I know the pain is awful, but, your journey is/will make you the wonderful person you are and the one you are to become because of your growth. Hugs and thank you for sharing.

I'm going through the first round now. I have no advice to give, as I'm searching for
advice of my own. Only that seeing my baby grow and laugh despite her absent father makes me know that everything happens for a reason

I hear a song today that caught my attention. The words were "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller." It goes on to say "Just because I am alone doesn't make me lonely". Sung by Kelly Clarkson.
Things will get better.
