10 weeks and counting
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and I'm a recovering ice addict. I have been clean for 10 weeks and 2 days and absolutely loving my life at the moment.
I'm interested to hear anyone's advice out there about what people call "the wall" which is the 3 month mark in recovery where most people seem to lapse or relapse?? This 3 month mark is only weeks away for me and I'm feeling a bit anxious about it!! I think what most people say is the reason for these high numbers of relapsing is boredom, admittedly I'm starting to level out a fair bit now in my moods and energy, but still feeling very positive :-) If anyone wants to swing some advice my way on how to get through this "wall" I'd appreciate it very much :-) cheers

I was never addicted to ice, but with alcohol it tends to be a few weeks for me.
The last few times I made it over a month, I just told myself it was a wall that I had to climb over. I allowed myself some sugar, coffee, whatever as long as it wasn't alcohol. That way (at least I told myself) I was giving myself small victories.
