21 Days Sober & 1st Meeting Yesterday

Just thought I'd do a quick update.

21 days sober today - never for 1 minute did I think I'd get this far.

Had my first meeting at the Alcohol Advisory Centre yesterday. Folks there were really nice - though there was a Student Social Worker sitting in on the meeting - who was a bit shocked that I didn't open my 1st bottle of wine until evening time !!!

They also suggested Campral for cravings. Just wonder if anyone has any experience with this.

I've no experience of taking anything for cravings Shenzy.

Congratulations on three weeks. I have no experience on meds. Did you ask any of the people at your meeting?

I don't know about taking anything for cravings, but I do know that each time you successfully work through one it gets easier

I have no experience with Campral, just administered ice cream for my cravings lol

I saw an MD addiction specialist who prescribed campral. This was at least five years ago and was just one part of my recovery plan.
I did not experience any cravings.
