Briggs Myers test mock poll
Briggs Myers test mock poll
Hey all - this is a thread on the other side of the street, and the results have interesting similarities over there. I don't know how to set up a poll - maybe a kind moderator can fix this for me? Anywho - I am curious personality wise how WE are all similar. You can take the test here -
Personality test based on C. Jung and I. Briggs Myers type theory
And if a Mod wants to fix this up into a poll - here are the possible outcomes:
ENFP
ESTJ
ENTP
ESTP
ENFJ
ESFJ
ENTJ
ESFP
INFP
ISTJ
INTP
ISTP
INFJ
ISFJ
INTJ
ISFP
If not, I'd love to hear everyone's results and discussion on similarities between our 'types'.
I am
E extravert - 11% - sure, ok
N intuitive - 62% - really?! i feel oblivious most days...
T thinking - 38% - yep - I can thank that for the migraines
J judging - 11% - who, me?
Some quips about my type - ENTJs have a natural tendency to marshall and direct. This may be expressed with the charm and finesse of a world leader or with the insensitivity of a cult leader. ENTJs are decisive. They see what needs to be done, and frequently assign roles to their fellows. Few other types can equal their ability to remain resolute in conflict, sending the valiant (and often leading the charge) into the mouth of hell. When challenged, the ENTJ may by reflex become argumentative.
Eek - there's that controlling nature y'all are helping me battle.
OK - Lets see 'who' yall are!

Oh my, lol.
INTJ = Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(38%) Judging(78%)
I've done similar things before and always get the same thing. I've done some really interesting things with this as part of Vision Planning and Management stuff at work too. When we grouped up according to our 'types' and did some exercises it was very interesting and a bit funny.
Here is a quip:
"Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel. While they are capable of caring deeply for others (usually a select few), and are willing to spend a great deal of time and effort on a relationship, the knowledge and self-confidence that make them so successful in other areas can suddenly abandon or mislead them in interpersonal situations."
^^ Understatement of the Century, lol.
I will keep company with Gandalf the Grey and a bunch of other interesting people so I'm good

How common is your type. This is from myersbriggs.org based on US population
Looking at this table, you can see the most common types across the bottom two rows and in the left two columns. The Total section shows the distribution along the four dichotomies. As you can see, the data suggest that those who prefer Sensing are more frequent in the population than those who prefer Intuition.
INTP
Introvert(44%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(12%) Perceiving(22%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (44%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)
Hmm...Could this be right? lol

Thanks for sharing!!
Right there with Thumper as INTJ (though, my %s were different)
100% strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion
38% moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing
38% moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling
56% moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving
LOL, I think the "strong preference for introversion" is an understatement scoring at 100.
I had thought that the test results weren't really supposed to change. But, I've taken the test a couple times before (for school or work); the IN-J part didn't change, but on the test I took for one job, I scored as INFJ. (Though if I remember correctly, I scored at 1% for F that time.)

I took this test today for 3 different periods of my life, quite simply because I didn't know how to answer the questions, because at different times, I felt different ways.

My therapist was once again gently prodding me to be more social today, but I explained to her that I'm an introvert and I need to actually recuperate from social interactions. Time with my family, Alanon meetings and service work pretty well fill the social bill for me.
