I've had some really positive things happen to me in the last 2 weeks And nothing that I would call negative.Being sober is a sense of freedom,no waking up to "what did I do?". Nobody has a problem with me not drinking,it's like a weight has been lifted off my back.I'm shooting for a more positive attitude in life & I'm finding it a lot easier to do without alcohol always messing me up.I'm less irritable when I'm not hung over,not embarrassing me or my family either.I can't wait to see what each new day has in store for me,I've been busy catching up with old friends & distant family.This is my word of encouragement to all new members,hang in ther,it gets better.

Cheers man. I'm already starting to feel a bit better too, the intrusive thoughts are not as hard an heavy, controlling them much better anyway. Even the odd positive one coming through already. And its only been 2 weeks or so here too. Early days I know but still. Peace
