Day 5. Can't believe it. But here comes Saturday

I am really proud of myself to get to Day 5. Apart from some trouble falling asleep and feeling tired, am able to control the cravings and also attended the birthday dinner of my best friend where I only had Iced tea :-) That would have been the first Friday night in years that I was sober.

And today.. is the first Saturday for sure, and already have a few plans with friends. It is going to be challenging for sure but I look forward to updating this post that I had my first sober Saturday night in years!

Congrats on the 5th day. I'm on day 5 as well.

I'm staying close to SR for the afternoon and going to an AA meeting this evening.

In my experience I always need a plan for the early days. ( and each day mind you..)

Have a safe and sober day.

Great work on 5 days! Don't forget it's perfectly acceptable to take a break and skip any activites you might feel uncomfortable in. And of course SR is always here should you need it.
