I asked for help
Hi Savarna
This is a very busy time of year on SR...it's very easy for threads to slip down the page very quickly, especially when you're in a different timezone to a lot of the other posters here.
I'm usually pretty good, but I must admit I missed your thread today.
I'm only human - it's nothing personal at all
and hey... I just posted on your thread - but you actually had 7 or 8 replies, not 'one or two'.
The AV can really run with things like that, blow it up, and make us resentful.

Savarna, I am not on in the evening-I am an early morning poster so just saw your post this morning. There are so many people posting right now, that sometimes posts get moved down the list. We just went through the holidays and it got busy here! Sorry you got lost in the shuffle.
We support you and you can do this!

Apologies, like Dee mentioned posts do tend to slip pretty quick when the forum gets busier, you will have a lot of support from all the good pholks here on SR, time zones play a huge factor too in the number of replies, but I'm glad you posted and wish the the very best.
Hey savarna don't feel discouraged. Sometimes it's just a matter of timing. If you post at the busiest times more people will see your post. Post as many times as you need to we're all here to help each other out.
Keep your head up!

Savarna, I understand how you feel. That has happened to me too and over time I realized that my anger was part of my drinking persona. I actually felt hurt but experienced it as anger. After almost 3 years here I've found that nobody deliberately skips posts. We all try to answer as we can. The sheer volume of posts can be intimidating. Please stick with us and when you don't get an answer as quickly as you think you should, try responding to others' posts. People will get to know you faster and for me, responding to other posts gets me out of my own little cocoon :-)
Getting involved in the current monthly thread is another action I would suggest. It will gradually end up with a fairly stable and smaller group where everyone knows you.
